SUMMARY:Come Dine With Me
DESCRIPTION:The village “Come Dine with Me” is an opportunity to meet new people in the village or enjoy the company of those you already know! Indulge in some delicious homemade food without the obligation to invite people back! \nThe evening consists of four separate stages:-\n1. Start at the Village Hall with a free glass of bubbly (or the bar will be open if you prefer!)\n2. Starters at a house in the village (you’ll find out where on the night!)\n3. On to mains at a different house\n4. Return to Village Inn for cheese – and another drink? Surely not! Oh well ….\nYou can come along as guests only and be spoilt all night or host one course. Hosts are needed to serve a Starter or Main Course in their home before everyone returns to the Village Hall – the main thing is to take part! \nThe cost is only £15.00 per head for the two courses and cheese and a free glass of bubbly! \nIf you are a volunteer host\, you will be recompensed for the cost of the food – deduct £2 per guest starter\, £4 per guest main.\nFor example if you & your partner are hosting a main course for 8 people (including yourselves):\n£15 x 2= £30 less £4 x 8 i.e. £32.00 therefore you will be owed £2\nSingles and couples are equally welcome and don’t worry if you have dietary requirements – all hosts are given details so you will be catered for \nIf you require any further information\, please phone Pete 0795 8745126.
